Enable AIM/ICQ/MSN/Yahoo Messenger in Nokia N9/N950

Enable  AIM / ICQ / Jabber/Yahoo / MSN / QIP / Vkontakte in your Nokia N9 / Nokia N950. Niwakame from Maemo forum have published three deb files which when installed enables adding accounts such as

  • AIM
  • ICQ
  • Jabber
  • MSN
  • QIP
  • Vkontakte
  • Yahoo

And you can chat with the friends in the above networks from the Messaging app itself. To download the deb files goto

or  download the three files below and install

First time users download and install the following three files in order

Guide to installation

  • Download the above mentioned files
  • Go to Settings – Installations – Enable Allow installations from untrusted sources
  • Open your transfers view (click on top bar, overlay opens (Profile, Volume…) -> last item)
  • Click on the downloaded files to install them, confirm any dialog.
    FIRST libpurple, SECOND telepathy-haze, THIRD im-providers-additional
    Installing not in this order will fail!

Try this hack and report us when you encounter any problems.

      Check accounts icon and you can add all
      Accounts there :-)

    problema resuelto…. lo que no me gusta es que se agregan los contactos del msn a la lista de contactos del teléfono…. alguna manera para que se carguen por separado ??? es decir que aparezca una lista independiente los contactos del telefono y los contactos del msn
