iPhone OS 3.1.3 Update out Cleares All Security Holes

Apple has released an update for iPhone and iPod Touch OS version 3.1.3.  With thisupdate Apple has fixed as much as five security holes as well as improving accuracy of reported battery level on the Apple iPhone 3G device. This update basically fixes securityissues that can allow attackers to control it remotely, allow them to run codes, access malicious FTP server or even bypass passcodes and access data.

The update fixes the security issues with CoreAudio, ImageIO, Recovery Mode and WebKit. This is third update from Apple, the last one came in around October 2009. You can download the update for iPhone and iPod Touch via iTunes.
