In addition, owners of Nokia smartphones with Symbian OS or update and Belle will also be able to use in future applications such as Microsoft OneNote on their Lync or Symbian smartphone. Nokia plans to announce shortly further information. On the other hand, a number of apps, which are available for Symbian, still not compatible with the new operating system version, including the Nokia Maps application SR8, public transport, situational and day writer.

The provision of the new operating system version is initially in selected countries, including Germany. Nokia initially supplies from the Belle-update for the Nokia OS smartphones N8, E7, E6, X7, C6-01, C7, and Oro. For the Nokia 500 Nokia Belle is only in the coming weeks, available for download.
