Nokia shipped 4 millions N8

Yip!!! There is a massive hit by Nokia Finnish with the new Nokia N8. According to Finnish research company Indere reports, that Nokia shipped nearly 4 mollion units of Nokia N8 since it launch back on November. They are estimating 3.5 millions – 4 millions unit.

The report talks about being a success in India, Finland, United Arab Emirates and Malaysia. Inderes cited guidance given by chip makers, N8 search volumes on Internet search engines, additional recruitment at Nokia’s Finnish factory in Salo and media attention to the phone.

      As usual all big Nokia releases are hit only in Finland, India and Middle-east. Nokia should make an effort to get mindshare in US and Europe, as that can actually bring in real numbers.
